We marked the grave site of John McKay on 19 July 2019. His actual grave is close by and was on the eastern side of a huge Boab tree, straight across the river from the Mt Barnett homestead. His grave had a wooden fence, but the fence and that Boab has now gone and cattle have obliterated any sign of the grave. So we placed his plaque on the eastern side of this young Boab, probably 100 metres from the original.
