Biography

The deceased died from heart disease. He is buried in the Roman Catholic portion of the Leonora Cemetery, Plot number 45.

Comments:On 6 December, a man named George Bigby. a resident of Subiaco, was lying suffering from injuries caused by falling from a crane, which was attached to one of the boats lying at the Bunbury Bridge, East Perth. On arrival the members of the corps immediately rendered first aid and conveyed the injured man to the hospital, where he was admitted for treatment. It was ascertained that Bigby was suffering from injuries to his face and back. At the time, his condition was reported as satisfactory. It is not known whether this is the same George Bigby who died in Leonora later that month.
