The deceased had been suffering for a considerable time from consumption, which was the cause of his death. Mr. Wilson was in the police force for a number of years, being stationed at Niagara and also at Malcolm some five or six years previous. He was subsequently transferred to Perth, where he retired from the police force.
The deceased was with the Pindinnie Gold Mines and had not been in the district very long when he was struck down with enteric fever.
Mrs Woodfield had been ailing for some time but her death was not expected. She died suddenly. The deceased had lived in Victoria for 37 years before moving to Western Australia. The informant of her death was her husband, Henry Woodfield.
Death was registered by the child's father.
