This little boy was buried by his father at "Woolonga', Cranbrook.  Witnesses to the burial were Susan G Kinsella and Albert C Gardiner.

His father, Wilfred Leicester Gordon Armstrong, was born 12 March 1883 at Rocky Lead now Rocklyn, Creswick, Victoria, (Birth Registration 8431/1883, Creswick).  He married Fannie Gardiner at Fremantle on 8 February 1910 (Marriage Registration 2700021/1911, Fremantle). Their family consisted of: Alfred Lester Gordon born 23 April 1912 at Mornington (Birth Registration 6600256/1912, Wellington); Winifred Eileen Chrissy born 1913 at Albany (Birth Registration 54000127/1913, Plantagenet); Francis Neville born 28 September 1914 at Mandurah (Birth Registration 4700095/1914, Murray); James born 1919 at Cranbrook (Birth Registration 5400189/1919, Plantagenet); Harold born 1920 at Cranbrook (Birth Registration 54000167/1920, Plantagenet); Rona Yvonne Beresford born 1922 at Cranbrook (Birth Registration 5400045/1922, Plantagenet); John 1924.

Having survived the war, Wilfred died 23 October 1950 at Kojonup (Death Registration 3500102/1950, Katanning).  Fanny died 14 September 1986 at Albany (Death Registration 5400178/1986, Plantagenet).
