of
Mary Hannah Moody
Who died May 23rd 1908
Aged 29 years
Though lost to sight, to memory ever dear
Brother Herbert Sydney Moody (Perth) The deceased arrived from England about two years ago prior to her death and had been a resident of Sandstone district for over twelve months. She was employed as housemaid at the National Hotel since early in January. When she became ill, a fortnight before her death, her removal to the hospital was necessary and all that was possible was done for her. Dr. Keenan and Matron Sutton were unremitting in their attentions but the patient gradually sank and died at about 10 o'clock on Saturday night. Her brother arrived from Bunbury by the coach a few hours before the end came. Mary's estate of £137 13/- was left to Alfred Keenan.
