Biography

The deceased is buried in the Roman Catholic portion of the cemetery, plot number 11. Dunne was a pioneer prospector of the Murchison, a mine owner at Maninga Marley and one of the prospectors of the Mt Egerton country. He was well known in Cue in 1894. His last trip to Egerton, where he held valuable mining leases, told heavily upon him and since his return he has been constantly under the doctor's care. Mr Dunne left an estate of £1073 15s. 9d. to Christopher Lowrie and Lancelot Thomas McManaway,
