The deceased is buried in plot number 25 of the Church of England portion of the cemetery.
Shortly before Mr Cook's death, a benefit was held to raise money that would enable his friends to take him to his relatives in the eastern states. At the time of the benefit, Mr Cook was an inmate of the hospital. Sadly, he passed away within a few days of the benefit being held. He had been an inmate of the Black Range District Hospital since May 1912, suffering from progressive muscular atrophy.
