Biography

The deceased is buried in Plot 57 of the Roman Catholic portion of the Kookynie Cemetery. After complaining of pains in his heart on the Saturday night, Bernard O'Neill died suddenly at Kookynie on the Sunday. There was no medical attendance unfortunately being available. A telegram, which reached Sub-Inspector 0'Halloran on 2 March from Constable Healy, said that there were no suspicious circumstances and that an order for burial had been given by the coroner. The deceased died intestate, leaving the amount of what could be £203.4s.
