Biography

The child's parents were married in Geraldton in 1897 (Marriage Registration 666/1897, Geraldton). Lennox was born 17 June 1870, his wife in 1877. Their family of 10 children consisted of 4 boys and 4 girls, of which little John Lennox was the sixth child and youngest boy,. HIs siblings were: Charles Colin born 1898, Northampton, died 1918; Leslie Graham born 1899 Northampton; Lennox Graham born 1900 in Victoria Park, died 1901; Roy Graham born 1902, Perth; Elsie Winnifred born 7 November 1904 Kookynie; Doreen Annie born 9 March 1908 at York; Mollie born 15 January 1913 in North Perth; Roma Isabel born 1 November 1919, North Perth; Marjorie Jean born 1921 Gosnells, died 29 January 1922. The children's mother died 1 December 1940 at Guildford. Her husband died 14 April 1946. Little John Lennox is buried in Plot 33 of the Anglican Portion of the Kookynie Cemetery.
