Biography

Little Ethel's parents were unmarried, so the child was registered under her mother's name of GARLAND.

There were three other children born to this relationship.  They were Percival, born 12 April 1891 in Adelaide; Florence born 22 September 1892 un Mildura; and Norman born 22 August 1896 in Perth.
