The deceased died 1911 and is buried in an unmarked grave on Dalgety Downs Station in the Upper Gascoyne district. The deceased was the station cook at Dalgety Downs.

Cause of Death: Thrown from a Horse

The deceased was found lying in the bush on the station, suffering from severe internal injuries caused by his horse falling with him. He was taken to the homestead and a telephone message was dispatched to Carnarvon for medical assistance. The message was received by Dr Hemsted, who left per motor vehicle driven by Mr E Williams. The doctor was too late to do anything for the poor unfortunate sufferer, who passed away several hours before the doctor arrived.

Cause of Death: Natural Causes

The deceased was buried by Police Constable Frederick Keith Styants (Regimental Number 1840), of Gascoyne Junction. Witnesses present at the burial were Peter A Healy and Charles H Moucher. At the time of his death, the deceased was camp man at Boonkoo Outcamp on Dalgety Downs, where he had been for many years.
