Biography

Callaghan was the fourth of 11 children. He enlisted at Claremont and served in the armed forces during WWII under the service number WX20015. He married and was still living in Moree in 1958, following his marriage.

The deceased is buried in the Roman Catholic portion of the cemetery, plot number 38. His brother, Thomas John, is buried in the plot beside him, number 37.  His daughter, Margaret Creed, lies in Plot #40.  Each of these family members is represented in this website.
