Biography

Buried a quarter of a mile north-east of the Yarrie Station homestead by Peter Lewis and Herbert Owen Coppin, owner of Yarrie Station, and a lay-preacher, Church of England. Burial was witnessed by JG Bourgom. Death certified in writing by D Gordon, station hand at Warrawagine Station. The young man left an estate valued at £57 13s. 8d.

Mr Atkinson died from injuries received when he was kicked by a horse.
