The little girl was buried on the Old Coach Road at Mertondale in the Leonora district. Her parents were married at Kookynie in 1903 (Marriage Registration 538/1903). In 1905, their second daughter, Florence Violet, was born (Birth Registration 5954/1905) in Perth.

The girls' mother was born in Charlton, Victoria, in 1885. Their father was listed as being a publican in Mertondale in 1903 and a boarding house keeper in Leonora in 1912. At the time of his wife's death in 1933, Lewis was running the Transcontinental Hotel in Northam. Mr Harris died on 31 May 1939 at Nedlands and is buried at Karrakatta.
