Known as Dick. Trenholme was operating a flying fox when the brake failed to function and the ascending bucket, out of control, struck him. He was thrown against a steel drill driven into the wall which penetrated his skull. He was employed at the Blue Asbestos mine in Wittenoom at the time. The deceased came from a large family of 11 children
