Cause of Death:

The discovery of a dead body of a man at the Pinnacles, some forty miles north of Mt. Ida, was made by Mr Barney Stubber, when mustering stock there about the end of June, beginning of July, 1907. The body was almost nude, the clothes hanging from an adjacent mulga in silent testimony that the dead man had, in an aberrated condition, peacefully lain down to die. Circling the body were found the tracks of a man leading a horse but no report of the occurrence had reached the Lawlers police prior to Mr Stubber's report.
