Biography

Also known as Ben. The deceased had lived in South Australia for 10 years before arriving in Western Australia. He had suffered from Delirium Tremens for 6 days before his death. His death was certified in writing by Herman Mielke, brother, of Davyhurst. Witnesses to the burial were Thomas J Fyfe and Arthur H Rickarby. Letters of administration in the estate of Bernard Mielke, late of Davyhurst and formerly of Goongarrie, were granted to Herman Mielke, brother, of Davyhurst. The value of the estate was £199 12s Id.
