Biography

The verdict of a Coroner's Jury at the Inquest held at Kookynie on 12 December 1900, was that the infant died of "Inflammation of the Bowels". The death was certified in writing by H.W. Fyffe, father, Kookynie. The child had lived in South Australia for 2.5 years. The child's parents had a daughter, Vera Adela, on 3 Sept 1891, in Kent Town, South Australia, and another daughter, Eulalie Lorna Benson, in Subiaco, Western Australia, in 1903. The deceased's father, Herbert William, died in the Murchison in 1917.
