The child's death was certified in writing by Charles Lamb, Undertaker, Kookynie, who carried out the burial. Witnesses to the burial were John Neve and David A McMurtrie. Another sibling of Roy's is buried in Niagara. She was a stillborn female child born 2 March 1906. Her story appears in this website.

This child was the ninth of eleven children born to Stephen Rowe and his wife, Esther Smith, who were married at Balmain, New South Wales, on 11 July 1880 (Marriage Registration 1661/1880, Balmain).  Stephen was born 28 July 1857 at Regentsville, New South Wales (Birth Registration 10180/1857, Penrith).  His wife, Esther, is believed to have been born 1862 in Blayney, New South Wales.  Their family of eight sons and three daughters were: William James born 6 August 1880 in Hunters Hill, New South Wales (Birth Registration 23884/1880, Ryde); Stephen born 1882 in Balmain (Birth Registration 4176/1882, Balmain); Theodore born 1884 in Dubbo (Birth Registration 14552/1884, Dubbo); Thomas born 1887 at Bungendore (Birth Registration 33590/1887, Bungendore); John J born 1889 in Tuena (Birth Registration 17719/1889, Tuena); James born 1893 in Sydney (Birth Registration 21148/1893, Bathurst);  May Elizabeth Jane born 10 June 1894 in Sydney (Birth Registration 29904/1894, Rockley); Theodore Henry born 19 July 1899 in Boulder, Western Australia (Birth Registration 966/1899); Roy Vincent Patrick born 1901; Veronica Lillian Ann born 1902 in Kookynie (Birth Registration 1793/1902);  unnamed female born 1906 in Kookynie (Birth Registration 1900023/1906, North Coolgardie).

Stephen Rowe died 3 May 1927 at Claremont (Death Registration 100567/1927, Perth), aged 69 years.  Esther died 10 April 1940 in Victoria Park (Death Registration 100671/1940, Perth), aged 77 years.

Roy's younger, unnamed sister also appears in this website, as does his niece, the child of his older brother, Stephen.
