Biography

The verdict of the Jury at the Coroner's Inquest held on 18 August 1902 at Kookynie, was that the deceased died from a self-inflicted bullet wound. It was said that the deceased had been drinking rather heavily prior to going into the bush. His remains were found in April and it was concluded that he had died during the month of April 1902. The death was certified in writing by Charles Lamb, Undertaker, Kookynie. Witnesses to the burial were J. Neve and A. Campbell.
