Biography

William Manton was born about 1869 in Sydney, New South Wales, and his wife also in Sydney in 1874. They were married in Coolgardie in 1900 (Marriage Registration 142/1900, Coolgardie - with her name registered as Emily Josephine Eric). Their other children were Alice Grace born 1901; Phyllis Mary born 1911; William Frederick Roy, birth unknown. Birth Registrations for these children have not been identified. William died in Brisbane in 1932 and his wife also in Brisbane in 1957.
