The child's parents were married in Menzies in 1903 (Marriage Registration 511/1903, Menzies). Their other child was Mary Martha Grace born in Fremantle in 1901 (Birth Registration 2205/1901, Fremantle).

Comments:The Family Death notice for this child lists his father as "the late W.J. Jarvis" but no further evidence has been found to indicate the death of the father. Further research has revealed that in June that year, Mrs Jarvis was operating a boarding house at Till Street, Kookynie.
