Biography

Deceased had a sister in Sydney. He was crushed to death by a fall of earth. The alarm was given, and willing hands were quickly at work to extricate the unfortunate man from the pile of debris. After about an hour of hard work the earth was removed, but the doctor, who was in attendance, pronounced life to be extinct. He was buried at 2pm on Sunday, 5 May, 1901. Deceased had lived in Ireland for 20 years before coming to Western Australia. The death was certified in writing by Charles Lamb, Undertaker, of Kookynie, and was buried by Charles Lamb. Witnesses to the burial were E.W. Eaton and H.E.D. Peers.
