Biography
Mary's parents sailed from Ireland on the "Helena Mena", arriving in Western Australia on 4 October 1883. Patrick is the brother of Charles Hennessey, who arrived in the colony on 28 February 1862 on the "Strathallen". Mary and her two cousins, Margaret and John Lachlan, are buried by a mulberry tree on the family property, "The Carrolls".
