On 16 February 1906, the deceased was appointed a Justice of the Peace in Kookynie for the North Coolgardie Magisterial District. In 1910, he was living in Fall Street, Niagara, before taking over the lease of the National Hotel, Kookynie, on 22 February 1915. He had lived in Victoria for 40 years before moving to Western Australia. He lived at Pingin, Menzies, Niagara, Kookynie. Australian Electoral Rolls still placed him at Coburg, Bourke, Victoria, in 1903 and Pingin, Western Australia in 1906.
Henry Harvey left his estate in the hands of his son, Walter John Harvey.
Henry's father, Isaac Harvey, was born about 1823 in Somerset, England. He arrived in Launceston, Tasmania, on 6 April 1842, before moving first to Victoria and then to Adelaide, where he married Catherine Boyd on 26 January 1854 (Marriage Registration 21/228, Adelaide). Catherine was born 1830 in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. They proceed to have 13 children between 1854 and 1876. Henry Charles was the second eldest of nine boys and 4 girls in the family. Isaac died 5 May 1881 at Castlemaine, Victoria. His wife died 27 June 1920 at Elsternwick, Victoria.
