Biography

This young man has spent his first 21 years living in Tasmania before moving to Western Australia.

His father, Albert Goodall Murray, was born 5 July 1848 at Morven, Evandale, Tasmania. He married Catherine Jane Revill on 20 November 1880 at Para Station, River Darling, near Wentworth New South Wales. She was born 15 October 1860 at Chiltern, Victoria. Their family of 10 consisted of 4 girls and 6 boys. Francis John's siblings were: Twins Annie Catherine (died 1881) and Emily Coralie born 17 August 1881; Winifred Alice born 1882; Arthur Henry born 1885; Herbert Edward born 1887; John Charles born 1890; Louis William born 1894; Isobel Kate born 1898; Roy Kennedy born 1901.

The children's father died in 1925 in Tasmania, their mother 20 December 1935 at Camberwell, Victoria.

Francis John is buried in Plot 24 in the Presbyterian Portion of the Kookynie Cemetery.
