Biography

Known as Dolly. The cause of death of this young lady was determined by a post-mortem carried out by Dr E.P. Thurston.

Her father, Thomas High Potts, was born in New Zealand 27 January 1867. His wife, Eleanor, known as Ellen, was born in 1871 in Mt Rouse, Victoria. The couple married on 1 October 1903 at St George's Cathedral, Perth. 'Dolly" was the eldest of their four children. Her siblings were Thomas Ambrose, born 28 December 1908 at Yarri; Henry Edward Murray born Perth, 1910; Walter Freeman born Fremantle, 1916. The children's father died 2 August 1934 at Yarri. Their mother died in 1957, aged 84 years at Kalgoorlie.
