Biography

Young Mr Taylor was buried by George Higham at Carlaminda. Witnesses present at the burial were Thomas H Harris and Andrew Walsh. The informant of his death was Police Constable Frederick R Fox (Regimental Number 134), of Yalgoo. Taylor died after suffering from malaria for two weeks. He had lived in Queensland for 22 years before moving to Western Australia. Carlaminda is about 5 kilometers from Yalgoo and this was the early days of mining in the Yalgoo district.
