Deceased spent 22 years in Victoria before moving to Western Australia.

Morrison were overcome by gases, generated by a round of shots in a winze at the Bellevue Mine, Mt Sir Samuel,
and died as a result.
The men neglected to turn on air after the shots had been fired.
