Biography

Little Vera Lilian had suffered from marasmus for 5 days before her death.

The child's parents were married in Mulline in 1905 (Marriage Registration 586/1905, Mulline). Four of their children, Vera, Robert, Leslie, Lyla, were born in the Shire of Menzies. Lyla and Vera both died at Mulline. Lyla's story also appears on this website. Their other children were Robert William born in 1907; Leslie John born in 1910; Lilah Mary born 1912; Bernard Louvain born in 1915; Loris born in 1917; Lorna born in 1920. The father of the children, Robert, died at Kalgoorlie in 1938 and his wife, who was born in 1886, died in East Coolgardie in 1968.
