The deceased is buried in the Church of England portion of the cemetery, plot number 18. The child's parents were living in Sandstone 1910-1912.

The child's parents were married at Mindaroo 13 October 1899 (Marriage Registration 939/1899).  Other children born to this marriage were Wilfred Ernest born 1903; Kenneth Lancelot born 1905;  Vera May born 1907 at Maninga Marley (Birth Registration 9/1907, East Murchison), died 21 February 1907 (Death Registration 4500023/1907, East Murchison); Herbert Edward born Sandstone 1908 (Birth Registration 21/1908, Black Range), twin to an unnamed little girl (Birth Registration 22/1908, Black Range) (Death Registration 600012/1908, Black Range); Claude born Sandstone 1912 (Birth Registration 4/1912, Black Range) died 1912 aged 2 days (Death Registration 3/1912, Black Range).

This little girl was a twin to Herbert Edward, who was also born in Sandstone in 1908 (Birth Registration 6000021/1908, Black Range). 

The child's parents were married at Mindaroo 13 October 1899 (Marriage Registration 939/1899).  Other children born to this marriage were Ivy Christabel Grace born 13 October 1900 (Birth Registration 3173/1901), died 19 May 1904 at Cue (Death Registration 1553/1904); Kenneth Lancelot born 1905; Vera May born 21 February 1907 at Maninga Marley, died aged 8 hours; Herbert Edward born Sandstone 1908 (Birth Registration 21/1908, Black Range), twin to this unnamed little girl; Claude born Sandstone 1912 (Birth Registration 4/1912, Black Range) died 1912 (Death Registration 3/1912, Black Range).

Alias Lew. Brother of Oliver. He is buried in the Wesleyan portion of the cemetery, plot number 18.

Jessie Veronica DECHERT (more)

Cause of Death: Unknown

Jessie Veronica is buried in Plot 4 of the Church of England portion of the cemetery. The child's parents were married in Lawlers in 1905 (Marriage Reg.No.1064/1905, Lawlers), with her father's name listed as "DEGHERT". Jessie was one of 10 children. Her siblings were: Dorothy Alice born 1905 in South Australia; Frederick J born 1907 East Murchison; Carmel J (or Jean Camille) born 1910 in Geraldton; Phyllis V born 1911 in Perth; Charles Herbert born 1916, William H born 1919, Bessie Jewel born 1922 and Marjorie Lorraine born 1924, all in Broken Hill, New South Wales; and Laurie Merle born 1924, probably also in Broken Hill. Their father died in a car accident at Horrocks Pass, near Wilmington, South Australia, in 1933 and is buried in the same grave in Broken Hill as his son, Charles Herbert, who died in 1927. Their mother, Annie, died in Broken Hill in 1971.

Cause of Death: Pneumonia

The deceased is buried in the Roman Catholic portion of the cemetery, plot number 9. Constable Rae, at Youanme, who had a thorough knowledge of first aid, was the first to afford relief to the deceased prior to his removal for medical treatment. Delaney was considered to have been "an old identity" of the Murchison and had been prospecting for a while in Bardoc.

Cause of Death: Natural Causes & Heart failure; died suddenly

The deceased was in Sandstone on Saturday afternoon, apparently in his usual health and spirits. He returned to his home at about 1 am on the Sunday morning and woke the man who was sleeping in the room with him and said that he felt very bad. Word was brought to Sandstone and the matron of the local hospital left at once. But on her arrival at the deceased's camp, he had expired. The friends of Mr. Desailly have known for some time that his health was indifferent but no one expected the suddenness of his death. The deceased had a brother who resided at Narrogin at the time. At Narrogin on 2 November, a Special Horse Sale was held to auction off the stock which had belonged to the deceased. They included: 25 medium to heavy draught Mares and Geldings, comprising: 16 x right aged workers, 4 to 7 years old (including 4 mares with foals at foot); 3 x 3-year old Halter Broken; 6 x 2-year old Halter Broken. It was advertised as "These horses are in splendid condition; are tip top workers, having just finished an extensive carting contract on the Goldfields, and we can thoroughly recommend this consignment to anyone requiring staunch and reliable workers." The deceased spent 20 years in Victoria before moving to Western Australia. The deceased was buried in the Presbyterian section of the cemetery, plot number 15.

The child's parents were married at Mt Margaret in 1907 (Marriage Reg.No.23/1907). No other children have been identified for this couple. Charles Docwra died 3 April 1950 (Death Reg. No. 10/1950, Gascoyne). The deceased child was buried in the Church of England portion of the cemetery, plot number 7.

Cause of Death: Accidentally burned in his camp

Downie was burned to death when his camp caught fire while he was asleep. His tent was surrounded by boughs and he had left a light burning. By some means, the light was upset and the camp was burned. The deceased, who was well known to be addicted to the morphia habit, was seriously burned before be could be awakened, and he died four hours later. The deceased is buried in the non-conformist section of the cemetery., plot number 7.

Cause of Death: Heart Disease

The deceased is buried in the Roman Catholic portion of the cemetery, plot number 11. Dunne was a pioneer prospector of the Murchison, a mine owner at Maninga Marley and one of the prospectors of the Mt Egerton country. He was well known in Cue in 1894. His last trip to Egerton, where he held valuable mining leases, told heavily upon him and since his return he has been constantly under the doctor's care. Mr Dunne left an estate of £1073 15s. 9d. to Christopher Lowrie and Lancelot Thomas McManaway,

Cause of Death: Bronchial Pneumonia

The deceased is buried in the Church of England portion of the cemetery, plot number 12. The child's parents were married at Mt Margaret in 1907 (Marriage Reg.No.48/1907). They did not appear to have any other children. Lars arrived in Fremantle on 27 December 1900, was in Burtville in 1902 and Sandstone in 1905. Following the death of their son, they moved to Meekatharra in 1913 where Lars was naturalised in 1914. He moved to New South Wales in 1920 where he died in 1932.

Alias Ted. In 1949, Mr Elliott was living at Bridge Store, West Pingelly, with his wife, Lorraine Ada. He was described as a Storekeeper. Mr Elliott died some time in 1992 and his ashes were buried by relatives near the front fence of the cemetery in 1996.
