Cause of Death: Septic Mouth, General Oedema, Heart Failure 5 months

The deceased is buried in plot number 22 of the Roman catholic section of the cemetery. The child's parents were married at Black Range in 1908 (Marriage Reg.No.5/1908 Black Range).James Joseph Kenny, an engine driver, was also listed as a fireman, brother of John.

Cause of Death: Heart failure

He was to be transferred to the Old Man's Home Perth Sister in St Arnaud, Victoria The deceased is buried in the Roman Catholic portion of the cemetery, plot number 7. He was the eldest of 12 children born to Thomas and Bridget Kersley between 1857 and 1876, including a set of twins born in 1872. The family consisted of 5 girls and 7 boys. William Henry's father came from England and his mother from Ireland.

William Christopher KIDNER (more)

Cause of Death: Unknown

William's known siblings were John, born in 1865, Henry born 1869 and Mary born 1881. All were born in Toodyay. A Mr W. Kidner was employed at the State Battery at Sandstone and was taken to the Mount Magnet Hospital in 1922 after sustaining an injury. It is not known if this is the same person as the deceased. Kidner was buried in the non conformist portion of the cemetery.

Cause of Death: Heart Failure

The deceased is buried in the Church of England portion of the cemetery, plot number 13. He was one of 12 children in the family with 10 boys and 2 girls born to Scottish parents. His three brothers, Thomas, Alexander, and Archdeacon Kirkland, were well known in mining circles on the Murchison. William was working a tribute on one of the Black Range Co.'s leases and, being a very hard-working man, he over-strained his heart. He left a widow, but no family.

Cause of Death:

Mr Kluth is buried in the Methodist portion of the cemetery, plot number 24. His wife, Dolly, married Eric Geoffrey GILES in 1934 and had two children, Geoff and Eileen. Giles died in 1963 and Dolly partnered with Keith Kluth some time afterwards. Dolly died 16 January 1966 and is buried in the Wiluna Cemetery.

Cause of Death:

In 1895, Christen Larsen Knudsen, bootmaker of Horsham, was filed for insolvency in Victoria due to Depreciation in value of land, falling off in business, sickness, and pressure of creditors. He had Liabilities of £392 19s. 8d.; assets of £399 4s. 8d.; and a surplus of just £6 5s. His wife Emma died 1882 in Victoria.

Mr Knudsen was naturalised in Australia on 24 June 1870, when his address at that time was Pleasant Creek, near Stawell, Victoria.  He was aged 30 years at the time.

The deceased is buried in the Methodist portion of the cemetery, plot number 15A

Cause of Death:

Charles father, Arthur Krause, who was born in either Russia or Germany, died in Fremantle Asylum Hospital, 2 August 1904, aged 38 years. The deceased's first wife, Ada, died in July 1914 in Perth. In 1922, Charles Kruse was a station hand on Bulga Downs Station. Kruse's daughter, Ione, was born after her father's death. The birth notice read: "... at Nurse Jones's Private Hospital, Canterbury-terrace, Victoria Park, to Mrs. and the late Mr. C. Kruse, of Sandstone ... Charles Kruse is buried in the Church of England portion of the cemetery, plot number 36.

Cause of Death:

The child is buried in the Methodist portion of the cemetery, plot number 9. His parents were married at Black Range in 1910 (Marriage Reg.No.9/1910, Black Range). William Lawry senior, was a miner. Little William was the first child born to this couple. Others were:Walter Douglas (Birth Reg.No.12/1912 Black Range); Robert Arthur (Birth Reg.No.53/1914 Black Range); Ellen Eunice (Birth Reg. No. 2/1918 Yilgarn). Catherine died in 1950 in Perth and her husband in 1965 at Northampton.

The deceased is buried in the Methodist section of the cemetery, plot number 4. Her parents were married in Sandstone in 1908 (Marriage Reg.No. 3/1908, Black Range). Their other children were: Albert, born 21 February 1908 at Sandstone (Birth Reg.No. 33/1908, Black Range); Alice Edna, born 31 March 1912 (Birth Reg.No.28/1912, Black Range); Percy born Subiaco, 29 June 1917 (Birth Reg.No.223/1917, Swan); Ivy E, born Perth 1927 (Birth Reg.No.504/1927). The child's father was a miner, who died in Dalwallinu in 1966. His wife died the previous year in Moora.

Cause of Death: Tuberculosis, Abscess of the Kidneys

The deceased was buried in the Methodist portion of the cemetery, plot number 6. When the death of young Lend occurred at the Black Range Hospital, Secretary McCarthy very considerately undertook the task of finding the deceased's parents and conveying to them the sad news. Apart from knowing that the deceased came from Sweden, Mac had little to go on but succeeded in his mission, with the result that some months later, a letter of thanks from the bereaved parents reached him from Goteberg, Sweden.

Rachael died in 1924 in Murchison at the age of 16 years. The children's parents were married 5 June 1906 in Murchison (Marriage Registration 8/1906, Murchison). Joseph died 4 January 1942 in Cue and Louisa died 11 January 1951 in Murchison. In his obituary, it was stated that the late Mr Lush was born at Brighton, Victoria, 65 years before. At the age of 23 years he came to Western Australia and went to Meekatharra in the days of the coach. He followed engine-driving on mines at Meekatharra, Wiluna, Cue, Sandstone and Youanmi and was also engaged in car driving for Bewick Motoring and Co. and Cobb and Co. It is believed he drove one of the first motor cars to arrive in this State and certainly the first car on the Murchison.
